Day 1, Step 1.

Well we survived our first day on our trip to Yosemite. We wanted to leave at noon on the 20th, and we left on the 20th. But it was a different 12 o'clock. We used our new teardrop trailer for it's intended use on the first night. We drove for 4 hours and then slept in Bob Evans parking lot for 4 hours. Bob is nice like that.

If I remember correctly now, we ended up with 12 fire calls in the last four days in SW. Now it is Gary's turn.

After a very nice visit with the Kentucky family (which included homeade ice cream) we are now headed west to KC.

Please note that all photos are taken by the author. With the exception of the vehicle crash. That is brought to you by, Gary Wysocki. I didn't know that photo credits are needed when using a cell phone camera...

So were the onions on your sub helpful in staying awake for driving as predicted? Has the FDA approved that technique for combatting fatigue and somnolence while driving? Enquiring minds want to know!

I haven't checked the blog in a few days since my computer monitor finally died. I briefly considered driving to S. Wales to "borrow" Paula & R.J.'s but decided to buy myself a nice new LCD model. Anyway, thanks you two for the loan of the rest of your furniture. I'm really enjoying it!

Nothing major has burned in Buffalo lately but I'll monitor the scanner & let you know if that changes.
